After putting Tavo to the test (and taking Sunny for a stroll in the city where he got plenty of attention!) we’re happy to share our thoughts on this impressive all-in-one pet travel system.

The Maeve + Roscoe pet travel system has certainly given us peace of mind knowing Sunny is safe and secure in the car, and we can easily transfer him to his stroller for family outings or city adventures.

The interchangeable linings are a nice touch too – there’s a durable canvas and a soft sherpa fleece. The fleece lining is such a hit with Sunny – he snuggles right in and happily dozes off, whether we’re on the move or just hanging about.
The Maeve pet carrier also has great ventilation with a mesh hood, and the UPF 50+ canopy is ideal for keeping Sunny protected from the sun or rain.

Easy set up & flexible design
Setting up the pet stroller was nice and easy. No flat-pack meltdowns here!
Simply scan the QR code to pull up the straightforward instructions, or head directly to the Tavo website for access. It’s super convenient – no need to stress about keeping track of paper instructions that could go missing.
Now, we’ve mentioned before that what sets Tavo apart is its versatile, multi-functional design.
Moving from the house, to the car, to the streets – all with Sunny safely in tow – has been a breeze.
Attaching the Maeve pet car seat carrier to the vehicle base takes seconds; same goes with clipping the carrier to the Roscoe stroller (which folds down easily and fits nicely in our boot!)
Even using the cosy carrier bed alone has come in handy when visiting friends and our local cafes. The hood and carry handle is completely detachable, so we can have a clear view of Sunny while he laps up the luxury of his plush travel bed.
Storage, but make it chic
Every detail has been thought of to make our walks with Sunny as convenient and hands-free as possible.
Right by the handles is a cup holder, phone holder and a central storage bay for poop bags and treats (not to mention a sneaky cafe snack or croissant!)
The storage tray underneath has ample space too, and has made it easy for us to swing by the shops when we need a few things, without having to carry a heavy bag home with us.
There’s also a stylish side zip for safely stashing small essentials like cards, notes or loose keys.
Safety features
As the only pet car seat carrier that has been impact tested against the rigorous United Nations’ child restraint safety criteria, the Maeve system offers peace of mind that few other pet car seats can match.
The Maeve car seat and carrier attaches securely to the vehicle base, and has all the features you’d expect from a top-notch baby car seat.
When fitting the vehicle base a green bar appears to indicate correct installation, which gave us peace of mind knowing everything is secure.
We also loved the addition of the sherpa-lined safety panel which comes with the carrier, and clips onto the door side for added protection in case of a collision.
